Barbell Hardware is a family owned and operated business and our commitment is to our partners. This business was born out of our frustration working in retail - it was becoming increasingly challenging to compete with the low prices of big box retail and online sellers. The established retail cooperatives face high overhead costs the prices they needed to compete in today’s marketplace.

In response, we designed a buying group that operates efficiently and with low overhead. Our everyday low prices enable us to share these savings with our customers, which range from convenience stores to independent hardware stores, downtown bodegas to rest stops. This advantage is even more critical in today’s challenging economy.

Barbell Hardware works with a rapidly growing list of suppliers and customers, primarily in the northeast and midwest regions. We look forward to expanding in the years to come and welcome the opportunity to bring on new partners.
